The ancient Roman port of Stifone, a true paradise for lovers of unusual and little-known places. Thanks to this port, built in Roman times when the Nera river was navigable, a village just above it was gradually constituted. A country that was to host the laborers and workers of the area and that now houses only 40 inhabitants in an atmosphere of other times. The turquoise color of this body of water can bewitch anyone and derives from the strong presence of minerals inside.
